Sometimes a “bad” thing isn’t even bad,
it’s just that too much crowds out the good things.
“Bad” things like empty calories or solitude.
It’s not too much starch or fat
it’s that when you’re eating the starch or fat
you’re not getting your needed vitamins.
It’s not too much time to think and muse and mourn
it’s that those things leave no room to
have a little fun or feel accomplished.
You can be fat as hell, you know
but still be starving for the things you actually need.
You can be alone in a crowd.
Or, I mean, I can be.
