We again entered conference mode. The Drake passage was pretty rough last night before we passed the South Shetland Islands, but once we were in the open, it was pretty calm - back to Lake Lagoda levels. So hopefully it will stay that way.
Hurtigruten had stuff for us to do: lectures on Antarctic public policies, reports by guest scientists, even a clay penguin-making art session. We also returned out boots and landing group badges. And the in the afternoon we had Q&A with the officers, the expedition team, and the behind-the-scene lectures on the ship. Tomorrow we get to visit the bridge, so I am looking forward to that. It will be another full-day sea day, but hopefully we’ll get to the Beagle channel before the end of next day.
